Cannibal Corpse - Stripped,raped & strangled

I forgot to do this band, they were support band to Children of Bodom, when they had a gig at Tyrol in Stockholm.

Real nice guys, one thing thats really hits me from time to time..is that the harder and the more black the band is the more nicer are the guys playing in it.

I´m not very much fond of growl but, I really liked this band.

One thing that u might not know is that they are inspired by Slayer, Kreator and Sodum i know only that they were inspired by Morbid Angels.
They come from the US. They did this tune as a live dvd som time ago.

Enjoy!

Cheers, Thetania

Tupac - Life's So Hard

This is a guy that my daughter really loves, so i guess he will be in here as well :)
She says its not a "guy" he is a legend. That might just be..
He is a damn good poet. Read this:

"People once believe that when someone dies a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead, but somtimes, just sometimes the crow can bring that someone back to put the wrong things right."

Its the beginning words of this tune.
I will not write anything about him, just wanted to share.

Much Love to ya all, Thetania

Soulfly - Unleash

Soulfly is a heavy metal band formed in 1997 in Arizona. Soulfly is led by former Sepultura guitarist and frontman
Max Cavalera, who formed the band after he left the influential Brazilian group in 1997.
The band has released six studio albums, one tour EP, several singles, and one DVD video.
Soulfly incorporates many styles of metal with Brazilian tribal and world music.

The sixth Soulfly album is entitled Conquer, and was released on July 29, 2008.
Bassist Bobby Burns stated in a thread on the official Soulfly forum on Feb 27, 2009:
"we'll more than likely record a new record sometime towards the end of the year (2009).
but it wont hit the streets until next year (2010)."

Yesterday they delivered a magic night for thier fans, even if Soulfly did thier 56th show and still have 4 to do before flying back home for some rest they had the energy to pull off a great show.
Max seams to be a little shy these days, as he dosent even soundcheck, but he has some good technicians that make his life easy. As you can see on the picture the stage ain't the biggest one :) well its great for the fans as they get close, really close.
Enyway...time for some music.
Todays tune "Unleash", the first music video from Soulfly's latest album CONQUER.

RL Burnside - Jumper Hanging On The Line

R. L. Burnside (born Robert Lee Burnside, November 23, 1926 - September 1, 2005) was a North Mississippi hill
country blues singer, songwriter, and guitarist who lived much of his life in and around Holly Springs, Mississippi.
He played music for much of his life, but did not receive much attention until the early 1990s.
In the latter half of the '90s, Burnside repeatedly recorded with Jon Spencer, garnering crossover appeal and introducing his music to a new fanbase within the underground punk blues music scene.

Burnside had a powerful, expressive voice and played both electric and acoustic guitars.
His drone-based style was a characteristic of North Mississippi hill country blues rather than Mississippi Delta blues.
Like other country blues musicians, he did not always adhere to 12- or 16-bar blues patterns, often adding extra beats according to his preference. He called this "Burnside style" and often commented that his backing musicians needed to be familiar with his style in order to be able to play along with him.

Today i have 2 shots of Burnside, first one is Electric, to bad the video is a little bit out of sync, but its a cool one.

The 2:nd is an Acoustic one, really great one.
Enjoy them both and discover some great Blues.

Prior to the release of his debut album, Legend's career gained momentum through a series of successful collaborations with multiple established artists. Notably, Legend sang the hooks for hits by Slum Village ("Selfish", also featuring Kanye West), Jay-Z ("Encore"), and Dilated Peoples ("This Way", also featuring Kanye West); played piano on Lauryn Hill's "Everything Is Everything"; and sang background vocals on Alicia Keys' 2003 song"You Don't Know My Name" and Fort Minor's "High Road."
