In 2010 it was said that his new album should come but its delayd.
Just read this:Lenny Kravitz album "Black and White America" originally to be released in 2010, is comming soon, Kravitz said on his website he wanted to release it by spring 2011.
Black and White America is Kravitz's long awaited funk studio album originally intended for release before Baptism's last minute songwriting sessions. It's a double album assembled from those pre-Baptism sessions and new material recorded at Gregory Town Sound. On his official website, Kravitz states, "I don't know what it's called yet, it felt like Negrophilia, and then... it felt like something else." On December 13, 2010 Kravitz announced that the new album was to be called Black and White America.
Lenny released 8 albums so this will be his 9th.
He will also be in a film this year, named Selma, playing..himself.
