Meshuggah - Break Those Bones Whose Sinews Gave It Motion

The great technical/extreme Metal band Meshuggah has released a new video from their latest album "Koloss", Its their 8th studio album. The last album obZen was really good. So I do hope this album is in the same line.

Tomas Haake stated, "As always, we try to take our music in a slightly different direction with each album and with Koloss, we feel that we really nailed what we were going for. Organic brutality, viscera and groove all crammed into a 54-minute metalicious treat, best avoided by the faint of heart!!"

In another interview they said:
What is the significance and meaning of the title, Koloss?
Koloss means "Colossus" in Swedish and we felt it was a perfect title since it's a pretty heavy and dense album. It sounds big.

How do you feel this record compares to obZen, musically?
I don't know; it's less thrash metal. obZen was focused on using all the stuff we'd been doing up until then, but with a new twist to it. This album has more identity and it's a lot more focused. It feels like a way more complete album and we worked more with arrangements this time around. Generally, it's a better album.
