Nickelback - This Means War

Here and Now Tour is a tour by Canadian Rock band Nickelback in 2012-13 in support of their seventh album, "Here and Now". During this Wednesday visited this band Sweden for a gig on the globe. So far the tour is being supported by Rock bands Seether, My Darkest Days and Bush in the Canada and United States leg, while Daughtry support throughout Europe.

Nickelback is a Canadian rock band from Hanna, Alberta. Since 1995 the band has included guitarist and lead vocalist Chad Kroeger, guitarist and back-up vocalist Ryan Peake and bassist Mike Kroeger. The band's current drummer and percussionist is Daniel Adair(3 doors down) who has been with the band since 2005, replacing drummer Ryan Vikedal who was with the band between 1998–2005. Nickelback's music is classed as hard rock, post-grunge, and alternative rock. Nickelback is one of the most commercially successful Canadian groups, having sold more than 50 million albums worldwide.

It was pretty interesting day, though the band is not on my top ten list. Met with a technician "Stu Lee" who was very interested in art, stood and painted during his free time when the band did their soundcheck. Always fun to talk to like-minded people. Have a picture a little further down on Stu in Action!

Once everything was up and spinning I got stuck with the band's drum tech, where we stood and talked polishing of cymbals, which medium that worked best, gave my advice and he gave his. It's really fun that there are so many ideas about how things work, or should work, think that he bought my idea of how to make things smooth. But we will not go into that now ... maybe someday :) In the midst of our polishing geek time, so did Daniel Adair showed up on stage, and suddenly we stood and talked ice hockey and the brothers Sedin. These Swedish twins were no longer Swedish, they belong to Vancouver, Canada forever ... point! haha. It came up during the evening that Tomas Haake (Meshuggah) was a friend with Daniel Adair, where the stylish t-shirt he wore :)
